A Farmers Training Programme on “Integrated Farming System” for the Farmers of Thiruvarur District was conducted on 07.10.2026  at ARP Unit, Thiruvarur.

A Total of 33 Farmers from Thiruvarur district participated in the above the Training programme and Co-ordinated by Agri. R. Emaya, Research Associate of IMTI, Thuvakudi, Trichy.

During the Training programme, lectures were delivered on  Introduction to Integrated Farming System, Soil health management, role of poultry and livestock in IFS, Integrated crop and nutrient management, role of traditional paddy varieties in IFS and Organic input preparation from IFS. The farmers thanked IMTI for providing the need-based training with the experts in the field.
