A  Farmers Training Programme on “Integration of Traditional and modern health care practices in cattle” for the Farmers of Namakkal District was conducted on 09.10.2026 at Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal.

A Total of 37 Farmers from Namakkal district participated in the above the Training programme and Co-ordinated by Agri.K.Kavitha, Assistant Professor of IMTI, Thuvakudi, Trichy.

During the Training programme, lectures were delivered on precision dairy farming, ethanoveterinary practices in cattle, common diseases and management in dairy cattle, feeding management, fodder production and management and day-to-day problems faced by farmers and solutions were discussed with experts of VC&RI,Namakkal. The farmers thanked IMTI for providing the need-based training with the experts in the field.
